MobiShow is an Android app developed by Barco Limited (Awind) (33F., No. 16, Xinzhan Rd., Banqiao Dist., New Taipei City 220, Taiwan (R.O.C)). Others apps created by Barco Limited (Awind) are: MirrorOp Presenter, MirrorOp Receiver, Sender.

MobiShow first became available on 13 Dec 2011. It is estimated that MobiShow has been downloaded between 50000 and 100000 times from the Play Store.

MobiShow 1.0.6.3 requires the following permissions:

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows applications to RW to diagnostic resources.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows an application to take screen shots and more generally get access to the frame buffer data.

Allows an application to read the low-level system log files.

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_SYSTEM_ALERT, shown on top of all other apps. Very few apps should use this permission; these windows are intended for system-level interaction with the user.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows an application to read or write the secure system settings.
